Born in southern China, Bik Ng speaks several Chinese dialects. She learned traditional cooking from her mother and her grandmother and uses these techniques in her cooking today.

Bik has 30 years experience in the food and hotel industries. Her family owns and operates The Peach Farm, a popular restaurant in the heart of Boston's Chinatown.

When she's not eating Chinese food, she's often found cooking it. Bik is a chef instructor at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. She also teaches at Boston University's Center for Lifelong Learning called "Cooking up Cultural - China."

An active member of the Asian-American community, Bik serves on several boards including Wang YMCA of Chinatown, Museum of Science-Community Advicesory member. She travels extensively as a delegate on many cultural exchange programs. She also leads tours to China and Southeast Asia for culinary professionals and curious travelers.
